Disney couples’ first meetings over the years - it wasn’t always love at first sight
Here’s an awesome way to cope with winter blues, that is, if you live in Krausnick, Germany. There you’ll find a former Soviet military airbase hangar, an enormous structure that originally contained cargo airships, that has been transformed into the Tropical Islands, an indoor tropical beach resort, “Europe’s largest tropical holiday world.” Outside the landscape may be bleak and bitter cold, but inside it’s a warm tropical paradise.
The hangar is 360-meters long, 210-meters wide, and 107-meters high - tall enough to contain the Statue of Liberty. Instead of military airships or wayward giant monuments, the Tropical Islands resort contains a sandy beach peppered with palm trees around a clear blue lagoon, a water slide, adventure park, numerous restaurants, lodging options and even evening shows. It’s a wonder anyone goes back outside at all.

Can I go there please?
Meet, Caffrey - a Persian cat. He is a family pet, and loved very much especially by 8-year-old Ashley Tyler. At first glance you could not tell that the cat has only two feet.. Caffrey lost his legs in a car accident. The vet told the owners that they hadn’t ever seen such a rapid recovery. The owners completely abandoned the idea of putting the cat to sleep. It seems Caffrey still has a long and happy life ahead of him.

Amazing
Generally speaking, it’s a good idea to avoid eating raw poultry. But this particular bird is actually a delicious orange and rum spice cake in disguise. The deceptive dessert that really does look exactly like a raw turkey was created for Christmas by London-based Sarah Hardy Cakes. No need to baste it. Just dig right in. Yum!
